Hi John,

I wanted to personally thank you all for their birthday wishes yesterday. I’m not a huge fan of broadcasting my birthday, but your notes were really kind. In this last trip around the sun, I became a dad to wonderful Lily, we did some crucial work fighting back against Republican extremism, and I have a lot of reflections I’d like to share with you.

But first, I need your help. My race is one of the most competitive in the country, and with our razor-thin House majority, we cannot afford to lose my seat to MAGA Republicans. If you could chip in today to help me win so we can keep the House blue, it would mean the world to me.

Though I am a year older now, I am still one of the youngest members of Congress. I can speak from experience to say this: in order to actually make change, we need to empower a new generation of leaders. Costs of living are sky-high, climate change is ravaging communities like mine, and our fundamental civil rights are under attack left and right. Business as usual in Congress won’t cut it anymore. I am doing everything I can to put you first and tackle our biggest challenges head-on.

While Republicans are busy spreading conspiracy theories and attacking our freedom and our democracy, I am laser-focused on proving to the American people that Democrats can actually help: lowering costs, delivering affordable health care, addressing homelessness and keeping our neighborhoods safe.

Protecting our Democratic majority in the House is absolutely crucial if we want to address any of these issues, and the race for control is neck-and-neck. Anything you can donate to help me win re-election and keep Congress out of the hands of MAGA Republicans like Tom Patti and Marjorie Taylor Greene would be greatly appreciated.
