Hi John, it's Trudy. When I launched my campaign for Senate, I promised to lead with honesty. So I'm going to be honest with you here: My primary election is tonight, but we still have a long, tough road ahead of us to November.

The GOP has countless corporate lobbyists and extremist megadonors lining their pockets. Together, they have the power to obstruct meaningful legislation and spread hateful misinformation about our democracy. And they won't hesitate to use it. 

They also have truly powerful forces backing them – but what we have on our side is so much more important. We have a real commitment to doing what's right. We have compassion, kindness, and integrity. We have someone with the heart of a nurse working to give all families a fair chance. We have united grassroots power. And we have history on our side.

I know that we have what it takes to win on Election Day – but only if we all stand together as one team united against extremism, hate, and greed. That's why I'm emailing you today: We're still $826 short of my final pre-primary grassroots goal, and polls close in just a few short hours. This is your LAST chance to pitch in to help us start off the general election strong.
