[1]Beto O'Rourke
John,
Beto is continuing his 49-day, more than 5,600 mile Drive for Texas, which
is taking him back to more than 65 counties for over 75 events this
summer.
We’ll share a few highlights from the last week across Texas, but first,
we want to ask: [ [link removed] ]will you chip in $3 right now to help us
keep Beto on the road so he can meet with voters all across Texas?
On Sunday, we had an incredible turnout with a packed house as Beto
rallied in Harris County:

We also traveled to Woodville where Beto was the first candidate for
governor since Ann Richards to come to town. This community only has 2,849
people but we ended up needing to hold not one but TWO town halls because
so many people turned out that we couldn't all fit in the library. So Beto
hosted a second town hall with the overflow group that was outside in the
grass:

In Hemphill (population 1,341), Beto met Garry. He was wearing a Make
America Great Again hat AND a Make America Great Again shirt, but found
common ground with Beto about moving Texas forward and doing better for
rural communities. This is what we mean when we say we’re going everywhere
and talking to everyone. We have to show up.
In Lufkin and Longview, we just had our biggest turnout yet with new
attendees coming out for the first time — Independents and Republicans
too. We are talking to everyone, writing no one off, and competing for
every vote. This is what a true grassroots campaign looks like:

At each of these events, we’re seeing a few common themes: People of every
political background are coming out to hear what Beto has to say and to
find common ground so we can move our state forward. And first time voters
are coming out by the dozen to each event, getting registered and signing
up to volunteer.
Beto is showing up for people who have been ignored by Greg Abbott for
years. He is putting in the work each day. But winning on November 8th all
depends on having the resources to build the largest organizing program in
Texas history.
[ [link removed] ]John, will
you make a $3 contribution to help keep Beto on the road
and make sure we have the resources to reach voters in all of Texas’ 254
counties?
