North Texas is home to the hardest working folks in America and I’m proud to work each day in Congress to ensure every North Texan can chase their version of the American dream. As your Congressman, I value transparency and hold myself accountable to you, so I am delivering my mid-year progress report.
I am so proud of the work we have done on behalf of North Texans and look forward to continuing to do everything I can to invest in our region to create jobs, lower costs and help cut through red tape to get folks the federal resources they are owed. | Helping North Texans Recover Money and Benefits |
- Over $1,217,000 in federal benefits and money returned to North Texans
- 809 cases closed helping North Texans with federal agencies
- Responded to more than 16,000 constituent letters
- Held 4 town halls and roundtables
If you need help getting answers from a federal agency in a timely fashion, I can advocate on your behalf and cut through bureaucratic red tape to assist you. My team routinely helps North Texans recover the money and benefits they are owed. Over the past six months, we’ve returned more than $1.2 million to TX-32 and closed more than 800 cases for North Texans. Since I first came to Congress, I have been committed to advancing bipartisan solutions that address our nation’s problems and move our economy forward. Over the first half of the year, 75% of the bills I’ve cosponsored for have support from both parties. I helped pass the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, which is already delivering funds to improve our outdated infrastructure and create jobs. I’ve also worked with Republicans and Democrats from the Texas delegation and President Biden to expand care for our veterans.

- Over $35 billion in funds coming to Texas from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law
- Passed bipartisan legislation to build a Spinal Cord Injury Center at the Dallas VA and a new VA clinic in El Paso
While I’m incredibly proud of the work we’ve done over the past six months, I know that North Texans are struggling with the high cost of living right now and many are scared about the future of women’s rights, gun violence and voting rights. I will never stop fighting for North Texans, and I look forward to tackling these issues and working to lower costs and combat inflation into the second half of the year.
