This is appalling, team.
Veterans and their loved ones flew out to DC to celebrate what was supposed to be a major victory. The Senate was on the verge of passing a long overdue bill that would give veterans exposed to toxins the health care and benefits they deserved. It was hailed as “the largest expansion of care in VA history.”
Instead, 25 Republicans chose to reverse course and block the PACT Act — even though they voted for it just a month before.
Senate Republicans didn’t like the fact that Democrats struck a deal on a completely unrelated bill, so they’re now taking it out on America’s veterans.
This is politics at its worst. Our veterans deserve better.
Please, add your name to demand Senate Republicans put politics aside and pass the PACT Act immediately.
Here’s what Jon Stewart said outside the Capitol steps:
“I’m used to the hypocrisy…I’m used to the lies…I’m used to the cowardice….I’m used to all of it, but I am not used to the cruelty.”
He’s absolutely right. These brave soldiers put their lives on the line fighting for our country. There should be no delay in delivering the care our veterans need and deserve.
Demand Senate Republicans pass the PACT Act without delay.
After serving as an Army Ranger, Jason came back and became an advocate for veterans. He donated hundreds of hours of legal pro bono work to support veterans and worked alongside other veteran leaders to secure funding for a new VA hospital in Aurora.
Jason will never stop fighting for those who served our country — because they never stopped fighting for us.
Thank you,
Team Crow
Now more than ever, we need strong leaders like Jason working for us in Congress. Jason is fighting for you, your family, and the American people in Congress — and he's not taking a dime of corporate PAC money. Will you pitch in now to help him continue working for us?
