Hi there, my name is Consuelo – I'm Daniel’s mom. Because tomorrow is his primary election, I wanted to reach out to you to explain why Daniel’s campaign for Congress is so important to me.

Our family comes from humble beginnings. I’m an immigrant from Mexico and at first, coming to a new country was terrifying. I had no idea how I would find my place in this new country.

But then I met Daniel’s father and we created a family. We worked hard to send our three children to college – a privilege that we were not afforded.

And now, I’m so proud of our grown-up kids: Daniel, Alma, and Consuelo.

Now, my son Daniel is even running for Congress. I can hardly believe it!
