Albany Small Business Development Center SEED ProgramThe SEED program provides character-based loans up to $35,000 for start-up and expanding businesses in the Capital Region of New York. The Albany Small Business Development Center partners with SEFCU and the University at Albany School of Business and School of Social Welfare to provide future and current entrepreneurs with capital to start or expand their business.The application window for the Fall 2022 Session is open until August 19th, 2022. Apply Here!New York State Water Infrastructure Improvement (WIIA) and Intermunicipal Water Infrastructure Grant (IMG) ProgramsThe New York State Environmental Facilities Corporation (EFC) is offering $225 million in grants for clean and drinking water projects during the 2022-2023 state fiscal year to selected municipalities with infrastructure projects that protect public health and/or improve water quality. Community Development Block Grants (CDBG)The Office of Community Renewal administers the CDBG program for the State of New York. The NYS CDBG program provides financial assistance to eligible cities, towns, and villages with populations under 50,000 and counties with an area population under 200,000, to develop viable communities by providing decent, affordable housing and suitable living environments, as well as expanding economic opportunities, principally for persons of low and moderate income.Applications for grants related to Housing Activities – including housing rehabilitation, manufactured housing replacement, and homebuyer assistance -  will be accepted through the Community Development Online (CDOL) system until 4:00 PM, EST, Friday, August 26, 2022.
