Last night, we held a grassroots fundraising event where more than 50 people attended and contributed, and we raised over $7500. There is so much energy out there, and a hunger for change.
We can and should compete everywhere. Up and down the ballot, we must connect with voters on the issues that matter to them: clean air and water, sustainable jobs that pay living wages, and fixing our fundamentally broken healthcare system. We can win—because our opponents have zero ideas about how to address these problems, and others. They don't show up, they don't listen, and they are corrupted by their big money wealthy corporate sponsors.
