Marleine Bastien is an accomplished community advocate and founder of the Family Action Network Movement (FANM), a globally recognized organization that provides life-enhancing services to low and moderate-income families. Marleine has won numerous awards including the ACLU Life Achievement Award and was recognized as “One of The 35 Most Remarkable Women in the World” by Essence Magazine.
Kila Murphey is a first-time candidate and tireless advocate for Orange County Public Schools. Kila founded Orange ESE Parent to Parents Alliance, an organization that supports students with disabilities throughout their academic careers. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, Kila is an expert in creating a safe environment for all students.
Dr. Sarah Rockwell is an educator and disability rights advocate running for her first election. Sarah is an experienced public school advocate, having spent over twenty years working in public schools, with a special emphasis on supporting children with disabilities.
