MISINFORMATION CAMPAIGN CONTINUES WITH MISLEADING TEXT MESSAGE BLASTED TO VOTERS

Topeka, KS – Yesterday afternoon, thousands of Kansans received a text message with false, misleading information from an undisclosed source. The truth is that voting yes opens the door to a total ban on abortion. A NO vote maintains current regulations on abortion. A NO vote protects our constitutional right to safe, legal abortion in Kansas. A NO vote keeps the constitution unchanged. A NO vote prevents government control over private medical decisions.

“Once again, the campaign to impose a mandate on Kansans through government overreach uses shady tactics and deceit to try and bait-and-switch Kansas voters,” said KDP Chairwoman Vicki Hiatt . “Let’s be clear: voting NO is the only way Kansas voters can protect their constitutional freedoms and reject attempts by Topeka politicians to control personal medical decisions.”

This last-minute text message is just the latest [[link removed]] in a continued desperate effort by pro-mandate forces to mislead the electorate.

Kansans will reject these lies, this amendment, and extremist politicians today by voting no on the constitutional amendment, and again in November.
