It’s August and Time is Running Out!

We don’t know about you, but we’re a little bit worried that it’s August already!

Our staff and volunteers have a big job ahead of them. Not only are they getting IDs into hands, they are making sure that our clients are registered to vote and have all of the resources that they’ll need to cast their ballot this fall.

Heading to the polls can be challenging enough, but with all of the barriers our clients face (such as lack of transportation, lack of time off, and fewer early voting locations, to name a few), voting just wouldn’t happen without our help.

In addition to ID fees, developing/printing/shipping/distributing our local voter guides are one of our biggest expenses. While we wish that everyone had access to reliable internet service, many of our clients don’t, so printing them widens our reach.

As challenging as they can be to produce, these guides are lifesavers for voters around the country. Not only are they packed with information on how to make a voting plan, they also let voters know what to expect when they head to the polls or vote by mail.

By now, you’re probably wondering how you can help! We need you to visit our website, head to our “Resources” section, and make sure the info from our state Voter Info cards is getting out. We also need your donations to make sure that our guides get to as many people as possible this election season.
