I have said before and I will say it again: when it comes to national security, President Biden plays no games. We elected him as our Commander-in-Chief for this exact reason. We can rest easy at night because we know our President is at the helm.
This applies not only for our civilians but for the men and women in our military as well. When I served in Iraq and Afghanistan, my fellow soldiers and I always looked to the President with admiration and respect. During the unfortunate Trump years, I feared that many of those that served struggled with the fact that a reality TV clown was in charge. I’m so grateful that those years are behind us, and I hope to god that they never return.
So that said, let's focus on the present Al-Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri, who was killed in Afghanistan on the orders of President Biden.
President Biden green lit a precision attack that killed the terrorist leader that was responsible for the deaths of thousands of Americans. Even more so, our military was able to conduct this attack without endangering the lives of any civilians. This could’ve only been accomplished with the guidance of our vast intelligence community and their relentless quest to hunt down America's enemies.
As President Biden put it: we will never rest or give up looking to hunt down those who harm to our country. The President is using the military for all of us here in America, unlike his predecessor who used our military to his own personal benefit. I don’t consider myself a one-issue voter, but national security is my red line. We need confidence in our Commander-in-Chief. I place my trust in our President and so should you.
What we need to do today is reward our President this coming November with a House and Senate supermajority that will work hard to carry out his agenda. Congress should be able to write more bills that the President can conscionably sign into law. Well – we all know that Congress needs to do more writing, but then again, that's our goal: to make sure we have strong legislators in Congress that can do just that. So chip in what you can today, and let’s get to work.
