Hey folks, keep reading to find out my (somewhat controversial) opinion on the deep dish/thin-crust debate.

First, I’ve got to say a huge thank-you to all of you.

Your generosity this month allowed us to make long-awaited investments in our campaign’s infrastructure, like:

-Upgrading our programs and software
-Recruiting and training more volunteers and staff
-Revamping our digital outreach program

I won’t bore you with all the details, so I’ll just say, again, thank you. I’m no Warren Buffet, but I’m damn sure that those investments will pay off big-time in November.

I also consider it a critical investment to bring in pizza for my team after a long week. It’s the fuel that makes this campaign run.

And here’s the honest truth: I’m a thin-crust, NYC-style pizza guy. If that gets me in trouble with my fellow Illinoisans, well, at least I spoke my truth.

Trust me, there will be plenty of pizza-fueled long weeks ahead. This race is way too close for comfort, and soon, we’ll be up against the full force of vengeful national Republicans.

But I’ve got a secret weapon: this community of donors, supporters, and constituents helping me build a better future for IL-06 and our country. This wouldn’t be possible without you.
