Folks – About this time two years ago, my all-volunteer team and I watched the election results come in knowing we’d worked hard, but our campaign was still a long shot.
That year – at the height of a global pandemic, and with only $50,000 raised – we came within 1% of winning this primary.
This year, things are different, and every election expert monitoring our race agrees that we are going to win.
We’ve raised more money than every other challenger in this race combined. We’ve knocked over 15,000 doors and contacted tens of thousands of voters by text and phone.
The response has been incredible. We’ve seen post after post of people tagging us on social media with their votes, putting our signs up in their neighborhoods, and telling their neighbors why they’re excited about our people-powered campaign.
The momentum is really with us this year, and it’s all thanks to grassroots supporters like you.
Yesterday we officially PASSED our pre-primary fundraising goal of $20,000, which means I’ll be able to bring on some key staffers as we head into the general election.
To all of you who contributed, shared our posts, cast your ballots, or simply rooted us on – THANK YOU. I know you’ve put a lot of faith in our movement, and we’ll work hard to keep that trust.
After 22 years under the same congressman, the people of this district are ready for something different. I know it, and I hear it from voters in every part of the community.
We have the chance to make a change today by putting our 100% people-powered campaign onto the November ballot. Give us a jump start on the general election with a contribution today.
