Hi John,
I hope you enjoyed the bank holiday. Just a quick note to let you know that you still have time to join this week's sessions and share your story of how youth work has had an impact on your life.

There are details in the original email below, but if you have any questions, do get in touch.

Thanks,

Daniel (NYCI)

In case you missed it, here's the email we sent last week:
Hi John,

I hope you’re keeping well?

I want to ask for your help with an important campaign NYCI is running in August and September, to ensure Government is aware of the need to increase investment in young people and youth work ahead of Budget 2023.

We’re currently developing the campaign, and are gathering stories from individual young people and youth workers to highlight the life-changing impact of youth work.

We will be taking a similar approach to the social media storytelling we used successfully in the Budget22 campaign ([link removed]) , and the storytelling Humans of Dublin ([link removed])  has recently been doing for causes.

We are looking for young people and youth workers who would be interested in telling their stories in this campaign.
Find out more about young people's storytelling session (Wednesday 3rd August at 18:00-19:30) >> ([link removed])
Find out more about youth worker storytelling session (Thursday 4th August at 18:00-19:30) >> ([link removed])

We need people who are:
* Passionate about youth work and its power to change lives
* Good storytellers, who are confident and comfortable in talking about their experiences

** What we will be asking you to do:
------------------------------------------------------------
* Attend a storytelling session and be interviewed about your experiences on:
Wednesday 3rd August at 18:00-19:30 ([link removed]) (young people) or
Thursday 4th August at 18:00-19:30 ([link removed]) (youth workers).
These will be done remotely over Zoom.

* Supply a photo for use in this campaign

** How you can help, John:
------------------------------------------------------------
If you have a story to share, please do register for one of the sessions above. If not, please contact any young people or youth workers you think might be suitable and share this opportunity with them.

Thanks so much as always for standing with us. You're part of an incredible community supporting young people across Ireland. Together, we’re changing lives.

With thanks,

Mary
