| Starting in May, hundreds of Seattle Pacific University students and their allies in the Seattle LGBTQ community conducted a "sit in" at the school demanding that SPU's board of trustees change the institution's "homophobic" policies. Now, Washington's Attorney General Bob Ferguson (D) has "announced a civil rights investigation into Seattle Pacific University for refusing to hire LGBTQ+ faculty and staff." So what is SPU's response? Unlike other Christian colleges, it's fighting back. |

| On Jaelene Daniels's Twitter page, there's a single pinned tweet. It says, "If you live for people's acceptance, you'll die from their rejection." "Unashamed," she added below. The post is from 2016, a year before the soccer star made coast-to-coast headlines for refusing to wear an LGBT pride jersey. It was a decision that cost Jaelene a spot on the U.S. Women's National team - ending a longtime dream. "I just felt so convicted in my spirit that it wasn't my job to wear this jersey," she said. Five years later, that conviction hasn't changed. |

| Less than 40 days out from the Dobbs decision of June 24, abortion clinics have taken a hit in post-Roe America. The overturning of Roe v. Wade ushered in a new era for the pro-life and pro-abortion movement alike, moving the battle over life from the federal level to the states. According to a recent Guttmacher Institute report, 11 red states have taken swift action to protect unborn life. This has resulted in a mass halt in abortions. |
