Jack,
The House just voted on a bill that would lower the cost of prescription drugs for all Americans.
This bill caps drug costs and adds vision, dental, and hearing benefits to Medicare.
The nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office estimates that this bill would save Americans between $750 billion to $1 trillion on drug costs. This is a big deal.
But Trump and Republicans in the House and Senate killed the bill -- breaking from their promises on Medicare negotiation. This one’s a no brainer -- Americans are paying too much for prescription drugs, and we know it and are ready for change.
No one should go bankrupt because they can’t afford their medication. And that fight starts right here.
I know that people want someone who will fight for them, and not the special interests, in Washington. Can you contribute whatever you can to our campaign today so we can fight to lower the cost of prescription drugs? Together we can flip this seat and make real progress on the issues that we all care about.
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
We can’t sit back and watch as Republicans say they will help lower the cost of prescription drugs one day and then have closed-door meetings with special interests and walk back their promises. We must start today to get organized for our May election if we want to win.
Pitch in now to help us stay on track towards our goal and show that you are ready to flip WI-7 blue so we can continue to fight to lower the cost of prescription drugs.
Thank you,
Tricia Zunker
