Hello John With just over a month left until we take to the streets, Extinction Rebellion is building in numbers and gaining momentum. From September 10th we will come together in London to demand a Citizens’ Assembly on climate and ecological justice to bypass those blocking progress in Westminster and give power back to the people.

The plan for September will centre people power and mobilisation at the heart, because growing this movement will make us impossible to ignore. The plan will be in 4 phases:
PHASE 1: A big, audacious action the week leading up to Sept 10th with mass London and UK - wide Paint the Streets on the evening of Friday 9th Sept!
PHASE 2: Meet at Marble Arch on September 10th for 3 days of direct democracy, community building & resistance in an undisclosed green space.
PHASE 3: Rebellion Buses will tour the country over 4 weeks, hosting People’s Assemblies, meeting and hearing from local groups and communities, engaging in intensive mobilisation.
