Hey everyone – Doris here!

I just wanted to thank you once again for another spectacular month! We worked
hard through the month of July, and I'm incredibly appreciative for all you’ve
done.

The end of July was busy for me in Congress. I introduced a number of bills,
and voted to protect a woman’s right to reproductive health care, our
environment, marriage equality, and more. Every day that I do this work, I
become more and more impassioned and recommitted to serving people like you!

I want to keep Sacramento thriving, and I want to protect the American people.
Now, Congress has recessed for August, and I look forward to working around the
district, meeting voters and constituents, attending events, and spending
much-needed time in my beloved home of Sacramento.

August is now upon us, and with just 3 months left until November, we must
continue to push forward.
