It's official: Michael Bloomberg has poured over $100 million of his own money into TV ads in an attempt to buy the Democratic nomination outright.
That's more than all of the non-billionaire candidates have spent in this race -- combined.
This isn't how democracy is supposed to work -- the Office of the President shouldn't be auctioned off to the highest billionaire bidder with the deepest pockets.
But we're not slowing down, we're fighting back. We can stop billionaires from hijacking our primary and fight the unchecked power of the wealthy and well-connected by growing our movement on the ground each and every day. That means hiring more organizers to talk with people about what needs to change in America to expand the middle class and then building a movement to get it done.
That's what it takes to win, and it's going to take real resources from a grassroots team. You can help power that movement forward, so we're asking:
Can you chip in for the first time to get in this fight with Elizabeth? $2 or anything you can would make a huge difference.
