Thanks to folks like you, our campaign won one of the closest races in the nation in 2020, helping to secure Democratic majorities in both houses of Congress.

Since then, we’ve made some incredible progress together — from lowering health insurance costs and premiums through the Health Care Affordability Act, to securing a once-in-a-generation investment in modernizing our infrastructure.

We still have a lot of work to do, and team, I’m nowhere near finished fighting for the people of Illinois. But we have another tough reelection battle ahead of us, and I’ll need you by my side every step of the way.

The NRCC has named me a top target in their fight to flip the House majority, and they’ve already begun to launch attacks at our campaign. And as a result of our state’s redistricting process, 70% of the voters we’ll be talking to in our district are brand new, and have never had my name on their ballot before.

I’ll be honest, winning this election won’t be a walk in the park. It will take a lot of resources to expand our outreach efforts and spread our message to new voters, all while fighting back against right-wing attacks. But I’ve seen what this team is capable of, and together, I know we can overcome these new challenges and make history once again.
