John, we wrote to you last month about the work Jahana is doing in Congress to reduce the cost of prescription drugs.
She has introduced legislation to improve the Medicare enrollment process and lower out-of-pocket costs. She is also supporting H.R. 3, the Lower Drug Costs Now Act, which would establish a fair price negotiation program, protect the Medicare program from excessive price increases, and establish an out-of-pocket maximum for Medicare part D enrollees.
We know this is an issue that matters to so many families in Connecticut’s 5th District and around the nation. Are you willing to share your experiences with the costs of prescription medications, so Jahana can take that to Congress with her? [[link removed]]

In the most prosperous nation on the planet, no one should be forced to choose between the medicine they need and putting food on their table or a roof over their heads. Health care costs are a huge burden for so many families across America and prescription drug costs are a big piece of the puzzle.
Jahana has heard this issue come up again and again when talking to people in the district. Now, we are asking you to join the conversation.
