I’ve got some big news to share, John:

A new poll published today shows that in the general election race for New Mexico’s 2nd congressional district, we’re ahead of right-wing Rep. Yvette Herrell by 1 point!

PollProjectUSA tweet showing Gabe ahead of Yvette Herrell by one point, 45% vs. 44%

Despite being an incumbent, Herrell only has 44% of the vote in this initial head-to-head poll, and our lead expands to 4 points after voters learn more about each candidate. That puts Herrell in a dangerous position.

We knew going into this that Herrell is one of the most vulnerable Republican incumbents in the country, so this proves that her extreme right-wing positions are hurting her chances in this upcoming election, and the people of NM-02 are realizing they deserve better.

This election is a choice. I will always put working New Mexico families first, while Yvette Herrell's priorities are pushing a national abortion ban with no exceptions for rape or incest and palling around with January 6th insurrectionists.

Help us keep up this momentum all the way to November 8 and flip this critical toss-up seat from red to blue: rush $10 or more now!

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
$10 $25 $50
$75 $100 Other

Thanks for making this possible. I know with enough people power behind us, we will win this.

Si se puede!

— Gabe
