Due to the strength and generosity of this grassroots team, our campaign was able to reach our critical July fundraising goal! Every single contribution – whether it was $3 or $30 – helped us reach this goal. I am so grateful to have this team by my side.

But, John, I urgently need your help again. Here’s why:

Ahead of the primary election on August 23, every campaign has to publicly disclose their fundraising numbers after August 3rd at midnight – just two days from now. As you may remember from our end-of-quarter FEC deadlines, our public fundraising report will be scrutinized and used to determine the strength of our campaign. John, we can’t fall short here.

Asking for donations is my least favorite part of campaigning, so trust that I wouldn’t ask if I didn’t have to: Will you rush a contribution to our campaign before our campaign finances are made public in three days?
