Folks – There’s only one day left until our primary, and the message these last few weeks has come through crystal clear.

Voters from every part of Washington’s 2nd district agree that after 22 years under the same representative it’s time for new blood.

Our congressman has stood by for over two decades while our quality of life declined. The profit margins of his corporate donors keep climbing, but our wages keep shrinking.

The cost of healthcare and housing is crushing us, and the Big Oil lobbyists who fund his campaign continue to shut down our efforts to stop the climate crisis.

That’s why there’s only one option tomorrow. WA-02 needs a representative who can’t be bought by dark money – someone who will truly represent the people.

I’ve been an activist and an organizer for 30 years. I spent decades as a teacher and a union leader. I have a long, clear record of fighting for working people and marginalized communities – and of standing up to big corporations.

And while support has been pouring in from every corner of the district ahead of tomorrow’s election – we’re not yet across the finish line.

We’re less than $500 shy of our pre-primary fundraising goal, and we need to close that gap today. Here’s why:

• After we win tomorrow, we have less than 100 days until the general election.
  
  
• Our opponent has outraised us 10:1, and we need to make up the difference in the field by mobilizing every voter who is ready for change.
  
  
• To scale quickly, I need to fill some key staff positions immediately.
  

We have a clear path to victory tomorrow, and we can win in November IF we have the resources we need. But if we don’t, WA-02 will be stuck with the same do-nothing Democrat for two more years while the climate crisis accelerates and working families slip further behind.

We can’t wait, folks. Not another two years. Not another two months.
