I want to thank you personally, team. We needed to raise $350,000 from online grassroots supporters before our End-of-Month deadline on Sunday, and my staff just told me that we knocked it out of the park!

This was our most ambitious goal to date, and without grassroots donors like you stepping up to the plate, we wouldn’t have been able to get it done. So from the bottom of my heart: Thank you, friend. 

But listen, this game ain’t over yet. With less than 100 days until the election, we’re basically tied coming out of the seventh inning stretch—and we can’t drop a single ball if we want to win this thing.

It took everything we had to hit our July fundraising goal, and our August goal is even bigger. That means we can’t waste any time celebrating—we’ve gotta get right back out on the field. I’m personally asking if you’ll rush in $5, $25, or whatever you can to help us start this month off strong. 

I’ve lived in Ohio my entire life and I’ve seen firsthand how workers and families have been cut out of the deal. I’m running for Senate to change that. 

There’s no doubt about it: If we’re going to win and give working families a fair shake, we need to build a grassroots movement that’s got the stuff to take on Republican billionaires and dark money groups. And it starts with you, folks.
