Earlier this week, I officially filed to run for U.S. Senate. I want to be clear: I couldn't have gotten here without you.

We don't have much time left to make sure I'm the candidate who goes up against Sen. Cornyn next November. Early voting in the primary starts on February 18 -- just over two months from now! It's crunch time, and I need your help more than ever to build the campaign that's going to win for the people of Texas. That's why Maggie said I should reach out.

From facing down the Taliban to taking on the Pentagon, I've taken on a lot of tough fights in my life. I know I'm the candidate that can take the fight to Sen. Cornyn and win, but I need your help to do it.
