“He has told you, O man, what is good, and what the Lord really wants from you: He wants you to promote justice, to be faithful, and to live obediently before your God.” — Micah 6:8 (NET)
In dark and uncertain times, it is easy to wonder what God wants us to do or how He wants us to live. God give us three simple instructions — stand for what is right and good, demonstrate kindness to those in need, and humbly follow His commands.
All three instructions are a reflection of our heart. God does not desire empty works. He wants genuine service motived by true faith. When everything we do is motived by a love for Him and desire to show others His kindness, then our lives will be pleasing to Him.
Praises and PrayersPraise God for the many new doors opening with local staff team members who are now able to resume travel and ministry efforts after a long wait during the worst of the COVID-19 pandemic. Fourteen shipping containers are going to 11 countries over the next few months — most of the places are experiencing conflict, poverty, or are closed to the message of Jesus. Pray for the people that will receive the aid — that it will arrive in time to meet immediate needs and create opportunities for local staff teams to share about Jesus. Pray that people will be drawn to Jesus through 22 new well projects starting next month. Each well opening ceremony creates an opportunity for local team members will share about Jesus.
