I was shocked, but not surprised, to witness the disgusting spectacle in the seat of Australian democracy this morning.



Is this the sort of 'voice' Anthony Albanese wants Australians to hear with his referendum?



This is exactly the sort of racially divisive politics and grandstanding behind the push for a 'Voice to Parliament'.



Hypocrisy abounds among the politicians, but this exercise by Lidia Thorpe took it to a new level: making a mockery of the oath to serve in a position she does not respect to represent people she despises in an institution she does not recognise as legitimate.
