Typical: as we face Covid, monkeypox, a recession, the worst inflation in 40 years, and increasing tensions with Russia and China, the establishment machine is doing what it does best. It’s thinking about itself. Everyone else be damned.

Local Democratic parties, at the direction of the state party, early-endorsed the incumbent without bothering to speak to me first or even tell me their endorsement meetings were happening.

The incumbent hasn’t bothered to show up to forums and defend his ideas (he’d rather let his misleading ads and corporate money do the talking).

For the past 2 years, the Democratic software NGP VAN has refused to send us an export of our 2020 data. This includes thousands of ID'd supporters, as well as their contact info.

In its endorsement of my Democratic opponent, the Seattle Times implied they had interviewed me before deciding. They did not. They didn’t even attempt to.

But that’s how it is with the establishment machine. They care more about keeping their grasp on power than the 330,000+ Americans who died of Covid because they didn’t have healthcare. Their power is more important to them than getting Medicare for All and preventing needless deaths.

I am fed up with the establishment’s games and greed.

I am running for Congress because in the richest country on Earth, no one should be hungry, homeless, without healthcare, or in poverty.
