I just heard from the team that we still have some ground to make up to boost our efforts on behalf of pro-choice Senate candidates in key states.

In the last month alone I have:

✓ Demanded clarity from the Department of Justice on potential federal actions to protect patients and providers – regardless of where a patient comes from.

✓ Introduced legislation to protect health care privacy and keep personal data safe from being misused against a patient.

✓ Introduced legislation to protect providers from prosecution for providing essential reproductive care to patients traveling from anti-choice states – which Republicans blocked.

✓ Introduced legislation to protect access to contraception in the wake of conservative states’ attempts to ban or limit individuals’ access.

But the only way we’re going to stop the GOP’s decades-long campaign against reproductive freedom is to expand our Democratic majority in the Senate.

Election Day is exactly 100 days from today. We cannot leave patients without the right to make decisions about their own bodies. We are going to fight back.
