This is the first time Vermont’s lone Congressional seat has been open since 2006. This primary election, we can choose our next generation of Democratic leadership. We have to get this right.

With only two Senators and one Representative to meet the diverse needs of Vermont, Molly has the right experience to get the job done for our small, rural state.

Molly spent nearly a half decade working in and with Congress , first with Rep. Peter Welch and then with the International Committee of the Red Cross. As our Congresswoman, she won’t need on-the-job training. She is ready to deliver for Vermont on Day 1.

Molly worked overseas to promote human rights and humanitarian assistance . She led members of Congress into complex environments including Haiti, the Western Balkans, Iraq and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Molly understands the role of congressional oversight and will advocate for smart foreign policy.

Molly worked to uphold and protect fundamental rights , both as a federal law clerk and as a Vermont Assistant Attorney General. As a trained human rights lawyer, she will use her skills and experience to get to work codifying fundamental rights in Congress, including reproductive rights and equal marriage.

Molly has served statewide as Vermont’s Lieutenant Governor , presiding over the Vermont Senate, giving Vermonters a seat at the table in Montpelier, and advocating tirelessly for the diverse needs of our communities from Pownal to Canaan and everywhere in between.

Vermont has alway sent fighters to Washington, and Molly has worked for two of them — Senator Leahy and Representative Welch. Molly has the experience to get the job done, and she’ll work with anyone to do what’s right for Vermont. But she needs your help now.
