Friend, We finally have something in common with the clueless Democrats running Beacon Hill. Both of us have less than five hours remaining. In our case, we've got less than five hours left to hit our midnight goal of finding at least 50 new donors. In their case? Well they've got less than five hours left to figure out a way around a forgotten law that will put money back into the pockets of taxpayers in the event of an extreme budget surplus, which is what we have in 2022. The Boston Herald's Howie Carr took up our case in his Sunday column: "In case you missed it, last week an obscure state law from 1986 was discovered that calls for the return of excess state revenues to people who work, that is, not Democrats. The timing couldn’t be worse, because the legislature goes out of session for the year tonight at midnight. Granted, these solons have never been shy about stealing a hot stove and then coming back for the smoke. But $3 billion is a lot to heist — before midnight!" Had enough? Donate today. Again, this should not be up to the Democrats. It should be up to you. That's your money, and they're addicted to it. The law the people passed in 1986 should be honored, but we won't hold our breath. What we will do is work our hardest to chip away at their control. We've got a golden opportunity to teach these people a lesson this fall. But we need a few patriots to step up. Again, I've set a goal to find at least 50 new donors by midnight tonight.
