Here at Liberal HQ, we’re getting ready to ring in the new decade, and that starts by getting ready for an exciting and important year ahead in 2020. When it comes to growing this movement, starting early to build strong and successful campaigns, and making important progress for Canadians, the hard work never stops – and we know that better is always possible.
That’s why next year is going to be big.
Our Liberal team in Parliament has already started strong, including by moving forward with our plan to cut taxes for the middle class (again!), which will benefit nearly 20 million Canadians. That’s the first order of business in a second mandate that will focus on investing in our middle class, growing our economy, fighting climate change, and keeping Canadians safe and healthy, and we’ll need your support and ideas every step of the way.
On the party side, we’re continuing to grow our movement by expanding our number of grassroots donors, investing in new campaign tools and technologies, and continuing to step up our work to build strong Liberal teams in every part of Canada. Plus, with the 2020 Liberal National Convention happening in Ottawa less than a year from now, there’s a lot to get excited about!
We have an ambitious $500,000 mid-month online target to reach before midnight December 15, and 752 Canadians have already chipped in.
