Hi John — I wanted to reach out personally and talk about these next 100 days.
These next 100 days will not only test our team and I, but all of us. If our primary was any indication, we know that Republicans and special interest groups will do everything they can to attack our campaign and try to keep me from becoming the first Black woman to represent PA in Congress.
We can’t allow that to happen, John.
I just checked in with our finance team, and we're less than $1,000 away from reaching our goal. Earlier today my team sent an email explaining the importance of meeting our monthly goals, and I hope you'll take a moment to read it (I’ve included it below).

100 days, John.
We have 100 days until November 8, when we will not only show Pennsylvania, but the country, that a bold, progressive Black woman from the Mon Valley has what it takes to beat the Republican political establishment and the corporate super PACs who back them with the power of a grassroots movement behind her.
We know Summer Lee has what it takes because she has you, John, and the power of the people has always been greater than the power-hungry. But we need to stay on track and meet our July monthly goal of $18,635.
Here’s the bottom line: Pennsylvania believes in Summer Lee. They know that she’s on the side of the working families of Western Pennsylvania and has been fighting for our shared values and best interests — including supporting unions and labor rights, expanding access to health care through Medicare for All, and protecting and expanding access to abortion — long before this campaign began.
On Election Day, we will need to bring everything we have to the fight to defeat our Republican opponent. But 100 days is a short time in the campaign world, so we're asking:
