I’m emailing you twice in one day because I need you to respond. This is urgent, and it can’t wait.

I reached out earlier because today is our final major fundraising deadline before Election Day and we are behind. Now, things are getting desperate. With just hours left to go, we still need to raise more than $3,000.

If we come up short, this is going to be costly to our campaign. You see, every dollar we fail to raise now means we have to raise 2x to 3x that amount later on because costs go up as we get closer to the election.

So, in essence, a donation now is just like activating a 3X match on your funds!

Please, help me with budgeting for our Get Out The Vote efforts by making a donation ASAP:
, when I was blown up in Afghanistan and lost my legs, I knew that wouldn’t be the end of my service to our country, but I never imagined wanting to continue that service would come down to this…

So, I’m sorry that I need to ask you for these funds, but I can’t win without your help. I will be forever grateful if you come through for me in this critical moment for our campaign.
Sincerely,
SSG Brian Mast, U.S. Army (ret.)
