john,

Earlier this week, Democrats announced a sweeping bill that would tackle inflation, create the largest investment for clean energy jobs in history, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 40% by 2030.

But Republicans, in an apparent act of retaliation, turned around and blocked a bill supporting veterans that they supported just a few weeks ago.

The bill was the Sergeant First Class Heath Robinson Honoring Our PACT Act — and would make good on our promise to take care of our veterans who were exposed to toxic chemicals from burn pits.

Ted Cruz was even seen on the Senate floor giving a fist-bump to his fellow Republican colleagues after blocking the bill.

Seriously?

If Republicans can’t be trusted to do the right thing — like supporting America’s veterans — then they shouldn’t be trusted to solve our most pressing problems if they take the majority this November. That’s why these next four months matter so much, john.

We have to organize and protect our Senate majority, so we can rise above partisan political games, and get things done. Can you chip in ahead of tonight’s end-of-month deadline to provide the grassroots resources we need to protect our majority? [[link removed]]
