This summer has brought deadly heat waves to the Pacific Northwest, across the country, and frankly the entire globe.

More and more each week, Americans see the dangerous impact of climate change in our backyards. We can no longer afford to close our eyes or look away. So I'm rallying our movement to demand the bold action we'll need to prevent future climate disasters.

Without intervention, these heat waves mean that our elderly and sick neighbors die. They mean power shortages, that our crops will fail, and that folks will go hungry.

Despite knowing these risks, the Supreme Court recently gutted President Biden's ability to act. That means that at the state level, we need to punch above our weight in this fight for our future and our lives.
