John,
Good afternoon and welcome to our Weekend Update.
I have been traveling around the district, speaking with folks, and
its clear that we all have had enough of skyrocketing inflation. This
week in Washington, D.C., I relayed our frustration. Unfortunately,
Biden and the Democrats aren’t listening.
Rising costs are hurting everyone. A few days ago, I asked our
constituents in the district how inflation has impacted their daily
lives. In less than 24 hours, I received over 1,400 responses from
seniors, small business owners, mothers, and fathers from every corner
of Pennsylvania's 9th district. They all described how they are
struggling to keep up with inflation. The high price of goods and fuel
is forcing those on fixed incomes to make difficult decisions. Some
are even being forced to choose between buying food or prescriptions
or fueling up their vehicle. The pain inflicted by rising costs and
inflation are real.
To put faces to this crisis, I invited several small businesses to
the 9th district in Washington for a House
Small Business Committee Republicans roundtable to discuss the
difficulties they are facing. We were joined by the American Crane
& Equipment Corporation, Wheel Restaurant in Pottsville, Ashland
Technologies, Inc., Scattered Acres Farm, Byler Holdings, and the
Pottsville Area Development Corporation. They, like many others, are
hurting.
To fix this situation, we must take some concrete steps and reverse
our nation's current course. That means stopping the massive
government spending deals, removing burdensome regulations, starting
domestic energy production and completely abandoning Biden's backward
policies that brought on this crisis.
I joined Newsmax to discuss inflation plaguing our economy
as well as China's increasing aggression. Despite skyrocketing
inflation, the Biden admin and Congressional Democrats continue their
reckless spending. When you find yourself in a ditch, you don't keep
digging. Click

I also addressed the inflation and the rising costs of goods on the
floor of the U.S. House. Click
here to hear my remarks.
Last week, the America First
Policy Institute Summit in Washington brought together leaders to
discuss the economy, energy, education, and immigration. Former
President Donald Trump delivered the closing address. We must embrace
the America First agenda that was powering our nation. (Pictured

IN NEWS YOU WON’T HEAR IN THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA:
Joe Biden and Democrats refuse to acknowledge that their policies have
led to a recession. Worse yet, their answer to the recession is to
raise taxes. Biden lied, denied, and deflected the blame for the
skyrocketing prices and recession they created. Families can’t afford
gas and groceries, but Biden and congressional Democrats want to raise
taxes, waste more money on big government policies, and make life
increasingly difficult for those trying to get by.
Here are the facts:
The solutions to these issues are not complicated, and the path to
recovery begins with restoring domestic energy production. Americans
are spending over $2,000 extra yearly on gas under Joe Biden. This Americans
for Prosperity - Pennsylvania gas station takeover in Sugarloaf
will lower the price of regular gas to $2.38 a gallon—the average cost
of unleaded gasoline the day President Biden took office. On August 2,
from 11-1 pm, please join me for some lower gas prices at the Gulf
Station, 528 PA-93, Sugarloaf, PA. It's unbelievable how far gas
prices have risen since Biden's disastrous agenda shut down American
energy.
Americans are hurting and the only way to help is to support
Republicans this November. Working together and on behalf of the
American people, we can and will get this country and commonwealth
back on the right track. Again, please vote Red in November and tell
your friends, family, and neighbors to do the same.
Thank you, and keep up the faith and the fight,
Dan
