Tonight’s deadline is close

I know it’s Sunday and you’re probably busy enjoying this summer weather. However, this email couldn’t wait, and I needed to reach out to you today.

Tonight at 11:59 PM, Team MDP has a critical end-of-month fundraising deadline. This is our last fundraising deadline before the August primary election in Michigan, which makes it extra critical. 

We need to make sure our party is headed into this election strong because everything from abortion rights to the future of our democracy is on the line.

Before I ask you to make a contribution before our end-of-month fundraising deadline tonight, I need to explain what is at stake.

Three Michigan Democrats are leading state government in Michigan: Governor Gretchen Whitmer, Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson, and Attorney General Dana Nessel. 

These strong women are being challenged by a group of radical MAGA Republicans that want to destroy the integrity of our elections, make abortions illegal with zero exceptions, slash funding for public schools, and so much more. 

We need to come together to help Michigan Democrats win, because if we fail, these MAGA Republicans will take Michigan down a path so dark, our state might never recover. 

I know that when we come together, Team, we win together. It’s what we did in 2018 and 2020, and it’s what we’re going to do again in 2022. 

I’m reaching out to you today to ask if you will stand with me and Michigan Democrats ahead of one of our most critical end-of-month fundraising deadlines. Make a contribution of any amount to fuel the critical work we have between August and November.
