John, I wanted to make sure you saw Patty’s email before our fundraising deadline at midnight tonight.
Thanks to your support, we made a huge dent in our goal yesterday, and now, we’re only about $3,000 short of meeting our July benchmark! That means we just need one final surge of people-power to get us across the finish line — can we count on you to get us across the threshold, John?

Subject: Our time is now
To: John <[email protected]>
John, I wanted to reach out personally and ask you to make a donation to my campaign before tomorrow’s end-of-month deadline.
I decided to run for Congress because I believe in a better future for our district and our nation.
I believe in strong voting rights, protecting our right to access safe and legal reproductive health care, common-sense gun control laws, and a system that allows us to enjoy our state’s promise to uphold equality before the law.
However, when I see politicians like my opponent close their ears to the struggles and fears in our communities and instead cater to the hyper-partisan political fodder in Washington, I know that the time is now to elect a new kind of leader for Nebraska.
But running a congressional campaign requires a lot of resources, and we need to remain competitive with our well-funded, party-backed GOP opponent. That’s why I’m emailing you today.
I’ll be honest: We’re about $7,500 short on our fundraising goals for July. Can you contribute any amount that makes sense for your budget before the deadline expires tomorrow at midnight?
If you’ve saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your contribution will be processed instantly.
Thank you, as always, for standing with me. When love powers the fight, we can accomplish anything!
All my best,
Patty Pansing Brooks
