Today marks 100 days until Election Day and The RED WAVE is building stronger every day. That's why you're seeing the Democrats and their cheerleaders in the media going on the attack towards Lee Zeldin and our strong Republicans up and down the ballot.

They are desperate to distract from their failed agenda in Washington and New York. Rampant crime, record inflation, incompetence, and corruption have left voters with one feeling: we are going in the wrong direction.

We have seen an unprecedented statewide mobilization of support for Congressman Zeldin and all of our common-sense Republican candidates. Hundreds of energized New Yorkers, Republicans, independents, and even disaffected Democrats, flocked to each stop of Lee Zeldin’s Fire Kathy Hochul tour last weekend.

Kathy Hochul is a self-described Joe Biden Democrat, and we couldn't agree more. She is in over her head, corrupt, and a puppet for the radical left. Voters see right through her charade and that's why they are demanding change in this election.

Rob Rolison has earned a reputation as a dedicated public servant and proven leader who gets results Rob currently serves as Mayor of the City of Poughkeepsie, the 18th largest city in New York. Rob is currently in his second four-year term as Mayor. Upon taking office in 2016, Rob inherited a city in severe economic distress. He very quickly and successfully turned the city around – reducing the general fund deficit by $10 Million and saving the city from the brink of economic disaster.

Rob attended Marist College majoring in Criminal Justice and in 1982, he joined the Town of Poughkeepsie Police Department where he served 12 years in the Patrol Division. Rob worked his way up the ranks and was promoted to Detective, a post he held for 14 years Rob was elected PBA President for two consecutive 5-year terms before retiring in February of 2008. Upon retirement, Rob concluded a 26-year career protecting the residents of the Town of Poughkeepsie.

Prior to serving as Mayor, Rob was a member of the Dutchess County Legislature for 12 years, representing the City and Town of Poughkeepsie. In 2010, he was elected by his colleagues to serve as Chairman, a position he held for 6 consecutive years Throughout his tenure, he has been a champion for fiscal discipline holding the line on taxes in both the City and County while still delivering much needed critical services. Rob has also been a committed fighter against unfunded mandates. As State Senator, Rob will ensure our Hudson Valley values have a strong advocate and effective voice in Albany.

Let them fly coach: Hochul commandeers Power Authority jet, leaves energy agency to fly commercial

Gov. Kathy Hochul effectively commandeered a plane serving the New York Power Authority, leaving the energy agency to fly coach while she sky-hops across the state, The Post has learned. Power Authority employees have been stuck flying commercial or driving for hours to far-flung worksites across New York since May while Hochul rides their Beechcraft King Air 350 airplane, sources said. “There is a lot of grumbling all over the agency about this,” a source close to the Power Authority told The Post Monday. Her critics, however, say the latest revelation about her flying habits, which she says were cleared by her legal advisors, adds to ongoing questions about flights that experts say cost taxpayers approximately $1,300 per hour in the air. “This is more proof that these flights have nothing to do with what’s best for the state and taxpayers and everything to do with what’s best for Hochul’s luxury lifestyle and fundraising schedule. There needs to be a top to bottom investigation,” state GOP Party Chair Nick Langworthy said in a statement.

NY governor has the ‘authority’ and ‘obligation’ to remove Manhattan’s District Attorney Alvin Bragg: Zeldin

During an interview on "Mornings with Maria," Thursday, New York gubernatorial candidate and Rep. Lee Zeldin previews the action program he intends to implement the "first day" he potentially takes office as the governor of New York. REP. LEE ZELDIN: The first thing my first day that I'm in office, and it's in the New York state constitution, the governor of the state of New York has the authority and I would argue the obligation to remove a district attorney who refuses to enforce the law. And Alvin Bragg, across the board since the first day he's been there, has refused to do his job. The first act will be notifying Alvin Bragg that he is being removed as a district attorney in Manhattan. We need to start securing our streets from day one, repealing cashless bail.

MTA Already Looking Over ‘Fiscal Cliff’ as Federal Funds Near End of Line

With subway, bus and commuter railroad ridership still far below pre-pandemic levels, the MTA is burning through billions of dollars in emergency federal aid earlier than expected, officials warned Monday. The MTA has long held that more than $15 billion in one-time federal COVID relief funds would allow the agency to balance its budgets through 2025. But officials now concede that early-pandemic projections of commuters returning in larger numbers were way off the mark — which could have a painful impact on riders, transit workers and ballooning MTA deficits. “When you have bigger deficits, you spend the federal aid quicker, which means you run out quicker,” said Kevin Willens, the MTA’s chief financial officer. “So we’re basically out of federal aid by 2024, which is a year earlier.” The MTA said that fare revenue is set to be about $4 billion lower than previously projected over the course of the five-year financial operating plan, drawing what transit officials have dubbed a “fiscal cliff” ever closer for the millions of New Yorkers who ride daily on subways, buses and trains. That raises the possibility of service and job cuts, as well as higher than anticipated fare and toll increases unless new revenue streams materialize.

GOP poised to pick up two Democrat House seats on Long Island: experts

Republicans have a real shot at capturing two once-secure Democratic-held Long Island congressional seats as part of the GOP’s quest to retake control of the House of Representatives this fall, independent election watchers — and even Democrats — said Thursday. The Republican Party’s chances improved markedly after both Democratic Reps. Tom Suozzi and Kathleen Rice decided not to seek re-election in the third and fourth congressional districts, respectively. One independent “crystal ball” analysis conducted by the University of Virginia’s Larry Sabato lists the race for the open 3rd Congressional District in Nassau County as a “toss-up.” Democrats have a clear enrollment edge in both districts, but some are moderates who object to the leftward tilt in their party’s governing policies in New York and are disillusioned with President Biden. The Democratic Party candidates took a drubbing in races for district attorney and Nassau County executive last year as Republicans successfully painted their opponents as soft on crime and voters registered disgust over Democrats’ controversial state law eliminating cash bail and detention for most crimes.
