100 Days to Election Day

As working families in the 1st District struggle to afford gas and groceries while keeping their families safe and healthy, Supreme Court justices are intent on stripping away our fundamental human rights, as seen when they overturned Roe v. Wade and gutted the Voting Rights Act.

We have exactly 100 days to spread our progressive message across the district and turn out Democrats to elect a progressive, pro-choice Congress.

The far-right plan to undermine our civil rights may have started with reproductive rights, but they certainly won’t stop there. Congressional Republicans just voted overwhelmingly against marriage equality for LGBTQ+ couples and even for interracial couples – all while they do nothing to hold the January 6th insurrectionists accountable.

It is time to fight back. We’ve been compromising for far too long. We must focus on our future.

Democrats in Congress are already making huge strides – from making historic investments in infrastructure and high-tech jobs to passing the first significant gun safety legislation in nearly 30 years.

Remember, John: Women only gained the right to vote in the last 100 years. The Voting Rights Act was signed into law less than 60 years ago. Roe v. Wade only became the law of the land 50 years ago.
