I’m sure you’re tired of hearing this — I’m certainly tired of having to say it — but it’s the truth: we’re just one election away from losing our democracy. For all the beauty of democracy, we have to choose it every time, or we may never get the chance again.
Not just when we’re angry. Not just when it’s convenient. Not even just when we’re happy with the outcome.
We have to choose it every time.
My team and I here at the New Pennsylvania Project are doing everything we can to get voters out choosing to keep our democracy. But fundraising this month has been seriously slow. If we can’t make that deficit up, we’ll have to cut back on organizing just when we need to be out in full force for the 100 days leading up to the election.
