Over the past decade, Pennsylvania has become the epicenter of a nationwide opioid epidemic, and it’s a crisis that has touched each and every one of us.

Solving this is not a red or blue issue, it’s life and death. As Vice Chair of the Bipartisan Heroin Task Force, I’ve seen firsthand how this tragic crisis is affecting so many of the people we love. 

And for myself, it’s become clear that those of us in Congress must work harder. 

Fighting back against the opioid epidemic requires a clear and bipartisan approach that responds to the real-world concerns of the communities most affected. A solution is possible, but only if we work together.
