As Deb’s Campaign Manager, I spend a ton of my time thinking about our budget. With just hours left until we hit our July fundraising deadline at midnight (our final end-of-month goal before the primary!), I thought I’d take a minute to let you know why the sooner you make your first contribution, the bigger a difference it can make to our campaign.
In the last weeks and days before an election, every cent has to go into voter outreach - contacting as many WI-03 voters as possible to bring them onto our team or make sure they’re ready to cast a ballot.
Voter outreach can mean anything from knocking doors to running ads on TV.
Deb enjoys canvassing and seeing friends!
Any money we bring in the door in the next few hours will, in all likelihood, fund those voter outreach efforts and others. However, later down the line, we won’t have the same impact in connecting with voters.
