Politico reports that my opponent, corporate Democrat Rep. Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5), is leading a charge to stop impeachment and censure Donald Trump instead.
This is a cowardly response. Who in their right mind believes Trump will stop breaking the law, will stop abusing his power, or will stop obstructing justice if Congress simply wags its finger and tells him they disapprove?
I believe that Trump must be IMPEACHED and removed from office.
That’s why I’m running to defeat corporate Democrat Josh Gottheimer. I’m a neuroscientist, immigrant, and mom, and I need your help.
Stand up for impeaching Trump. Please, chip in to my grassroots campaign to defeat Gottheimer.
It’s not surprising that Gottheimer is waffling on impeachment.
Time and again, he has undermined big progressive ideas and resisted attempts to hold Trump accountable for his wrongdoing.
He opposes Medicare for All and the Green New Deal, saying “none of those things are going anywhere.”
He has taken over $2 million from the financial services sector, and voted to weaken Dodd-Frank.
We need a progressive Democrat who will fight for big solutions to big problems and hold Trump accountable. But we won’t have Wall Street money backing my campaign.
That’s why I need your help. Help me defeat Gottheimer and his attempts to block impeachment.
