Hey friends – after a busy week in Washington, I’m thinking of how much I’m looking forward to the shellfishing season.

One of the beauties of living here in CT-04 is being able to walk along a beach and collect some dinner at the same time.

I know, I know, you’re probably used to seeing politicians in suits and ties. But when I have the privilege of representing a district with some of the best oysters in the country, well, I can’t resist pulling on my boots and getting my hands dirty!

Seeing the beauty of the shore reminds me why I love fighting for Connecticut in Congress every single day. I’m honored to represent such a unique, diverse state with unique, diverse people.
