Because I bet if you were running for governor and knew someone who was in the news for repeating old Nazi lies about Jewish people all being involved in a communist plot against Christianity, would you hire that person to run your campaign? Of course you wouldn’t. But that’s exactly what Doug Mastriano, the Republican candidate for governor of Pennsylvania, did do. Doug Mastriano is dangerous to our families and the very fabric of our country. I want to thank the 306 of you who’ve stepped up to rebuke his white supremacist campaign strategy! If you haven’t had a chance to support Josh Shapiro yet, please take a moment to learn a little more about the urgency of the situation: Right wing lunatic, Doug Mastriano, is a raging conspiracy-peddler, a seditionist traitor who was in Washington on January 6th trying to overthrow Joe Biden's very large and legal election to the presidency, and it has now come out he's a raging anti-semite. If you haven't heard of the social media platform Gab, you're lucky. It is the choice of Neo-Nazis in America and worldwide. Its founder, Andrew Torba, isn't the slightest bit shy about his anti-Semitism. Just a few days ago, Torba put up a post blaming Jews for "white genocide," has called Jews "subversive," highlighted Gab posters sharing classic anti-Semitic propaganda about Jews controlling government, the media, finance, and being "Christ killers." Torba even praised Gab users offering "differing perspectives on The Holocaust." So you'd think Mastriano, when he found this out, rebuked him or stopped posting on Gab, right? Nope. Mastriano hired Torba as a political consultant. Here is the filth Mastriano's consultant has given us. From the ADL: Gab, a self-described “free speech” platform, has a long history as a haven for antisemites, extremists and conspiracy theorists. Robert Bowers, the white supremacist who murdered 11 people at a Pittsburgh synagogue in 2018, made numerous antisemitic posts on his Gab account in the weeks prior to the shooting. Three years later, antisemitic content persists on the platform, easily accessible within just a few clicks. Well-known antisemites like David Duke, Rick Wiles and Nicholas Fuentes maintain an active presence on the site. Running against this threat to Pennsylvania and our republic, is Josh Shapiro, a longtime public servant who has been an incredible Attorney General of Pennsylvania and is now running for Governor. Shapiro is Jewish, so it's quite obvious the open anti-Semitism is part of Doug Mastriano's sick strategy, to try and incite, anger and win the votes of every last person he can lead on the path towards hatred in Pennsylvania. If this leads to another Tree of Life type massacre, he couldn't care less. |
