I’ve known Joy for 10 years, and I’ve been her sister-in-law for half that time. What I admire about her is how bold, honest and direct she is. Her drive and bravery in running for Congress are the qualities that are so necessary in our country.

I am voting for Joy because I’m a mother. I have a son starting kindergarten this fall and a two-year-old daughter. I’m also pregnant. My fears and concerns for the future of my children are just as much Joy’s. She loves them dearly and their well-being matters to her deeply. She will work tirelessly for them so they never need to know gun violence in school. She will fight to protect their reproductive rights and access to healthcare.
